Teaser for a new solo project I am embarking on next year.

Sometimes a turn of events can create the inspiration for a whole new body of work. Such is the case when Paul Williams contacted me about working together with Table of the Elements. The two recent shows with Mertens & Steenkiste have forced me to reinvestigate the work of Tony Conrad, one who already served as a main inspiration for my music.

Besides the new solo project and my work with Mertens & Steenkiste, I will also focus on my duo with Dirk Wachtelaer. Our new recording at Audio Plant will probably be the next chapter. We will also see the first releases on Ruined By Numbers and hopefully some more lp releases on Many Chants Records. The latest release, Guitar (For Loren), might have sparked the idea of a recording session with Jurgen Augusteyns. More on that later.

Also this year we’ll probably see more Archaic Tapes popping up. This will also allow me to further work on the Archaic Tape Ensemble.
